About

Publishers of The Ski Journal, The Flyfish Journal and frequency The Snowboarder’s Journal, Funny Feelings LLC (FFLLC) has been sharing incredible stories from the inception, starting with the launch of frequency in 2001, The Ski Journal in 2006 and The Flyfish Journal in 2009. A few years later, responding to consumer requests, FFLLC began offering digital tablet editions for all three titles. With the success of all the publications came recognition: a “Maggie” award from the Western Publisher’s Association for Best Quarterly as well as Art Director’s Club Gold Awards for photo content and quality printing. With the recognition came requests for custom work. In 2010 FFLLC entered the custom media market, developing compelling content, connecting this to customers and helping brands to tell their complete story.

Led by Jeff Galbraith, a former Snowboarder Magazine editor and action sports content icon whose work has been featured in endemic products like Surfer and Powder, as well as larger outlets Time, Rolling Stone, and Outside, FFLLC is rooted in rich content and authentic cultures. Creative direction is provided by Jessie Lu Galbraith, whose graphic designs have been sought by local, global and corporate clients from The Gates Foundation to K2 Sports, to Nike. Additionally FFLLC has developed a strong and diverse team of the industry’s best writers, photographers, designers, printers, and interactive developers to help bring your brand narrative to life.
